iPad announced January 27th 2010

Well, it's official.  After years of rumors, Steve Jobs is on-stage demoing the just announced iPad computer.  It's a cross between a laptop and a smart phone and does it look cool.

More to come here, but tonight's news will most definitely be reporting on the iPad as well.
