Corporate Training Video
This movie began as a Power Point presentation used for training employees, current and new, and consisted of 13 slides. The presenter would read a script as each slide was shown.
The author of the presentation wanted the ppt file converted into a video that could be placed on their corporate intranet for employees to view. Their expectations were set low, simply wanting the script recorded as voice over to play over each of the 13 static slides.
I pitched the concept of a full-motion video and quickly converted the first slide using Photoshop and After Effects and sent a 30 second example to the client. I was asked to proceed shortly thereafter. This video did include voice over, but due to its internal infrastructure nature the audio had to be removed for this online example.
Training videos, whether for employees or customers, provide consistent information to the end user. With the advent of the iPod, training can now be provided anytime and anywhere!
